Some airlines use enterprise-distributed apps that are not available in the App Store. Instead, they are installed using a special download link provided by your company.
When you install CrewApp this way, you may see the following message the first time you try to open it:
“Untrusted Enterprise Developer”"iPhone Distribution: [Airline Name]" has not been trusted on this iPhone. Until this developer has been trusted, their enterprise apps will not be available for use.
Why this happens
When an airline provides CrewApp through a special download link instead of the App Store, iOS marks the app as coming from an untrusted enterprise developer. This is a normal security measure that prevents apps from unknown sources from running until you manually confirm that you trust the developer.
Steps to Trust CrewApp on iOS
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Go to General.
Scroll down and tap VPN & Device Management (on some iOS versions it may be called Profiles or Device Management).
Under Enterprise App, look for [Airline Name].
Tap the developer name.
Tap Trust "[Airline Name]".
Confirm by selecting Trust again when prompted.
After Trusting the App
You can now open CrewApp normally.
You only need to trust the developer once per device.
If you delete and reinstall CrewApp, you may need to repeat this process.
✅ Tip: If you don’t see VPN & Device Management in Settings, make sure CrewApp is already installed. The option only appears once an enterprise app is downloaded.
